Taste Test: Nearly 2,000 votes (between the online and paper ballots). Three dozen winners. One sentence each. It's our 11th annual Best Restaurants results, in an easily digestible format.
Best Chef: Christopher Rohe, Prescotts: A certified executive chef as recognized by the American Culinary Federation, Christopher Rohe is now a two-time winner of Rochester Magazine's Best Local Chef award.
Best Bartender & Best Waiter/Waitress: Kelly Radke has been a jack-of-all-trades in the restaurant business for 24 years.
Best NEW Restaurant: Pescara: In landlocked Rochester, fresh seafood prepared creatively is a treat.
Best Restaurant: Chester's Kitchen & Bar: Last year, Chester's Kitchen & Bar was voted Rochester's Best New Restaurant. Only 12 short months later, it takes top honors as Rochester's Best Restaurant, period.
